At the end of class we watched Video 26.5 Daniel, Video 26.6 Cyntoia, Video 26.7 Cyntoia Update and then held a short debate on whether juveniles like Cyntoia should be treated as adults in the court and prison system. At the end of class we acted out a crime, arrest, bail hearing, and arraignment hearing (all for the same crime) and held a short debate on whether prisons should be turned into schools, business training centers, or rehabilitation centers or whether we should continue to view them as we currently do.

In today's class we did Video 22.2 Searches & Seizures, Problem 28 Self-Defense, Problem 29 Defense for the Shipwrecked Sailors, Problem 30 Case of the Unlucky Couple, Problem 31 Case of the Dangerous Car Chase, Problem 32 Reasonable Searches & Seizures, and Problem 33 Case of Student Drug Testing. At the end of class we acted out three sets of skits, the first on Larceny, Robbery, Burglary, and Receiving Stolen Property, the second on Self-Defense, Defense of Others, Duress, and Insanity, and the third on a traffic stop, probable cause arrest, a search incident to a lawful arrest, one of the cases where a lawful search can occur given unique circumstances.
